Were you looking for Shadow Candy from the first game?
The Nightmare Candy animatronic (also known as Monster Candy) is a nightmare version of Candy, that apppears in one of the Thank You images.
He is a huge, blue cat-like monster with glowing, yellow eyes, two cat-like ears and a mouth reminiscent of that of the nightmare animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy's 4. Nightmare Candy has a withered appearance with a scar on his upper torso and another scar on his left tight. He has big, five fingered hands with sharp claws and his feet have three toes, similar to the ones of Foxy from Five Nights at Freddy's.
As Nightmare Candy has visible endoskeleton parts, it is unknown whether this character is a monster like Monster Rat or Monster Cat or possible an actual nightmare animatronic. It is also unknown if Nightmare Candy's model will get redesigned for the third game to make him look similar to the style of Monster Rat and Monster Cat.
Nightmare Candy first appeared previously to the first Five Nights at Candy's game. At the time it was explicitly stated by Emil Macko that this animatronic wasn't meant to appear in any of the games.
At Nightmare Candy, unlike the original, the pointed sides of the muzzle. Also in the mouth there are 2 rows of sharp metal teeth. Eyes smaller, glow. On each side of the muzzle grow three iron wounds (while the original antagonist mustache at all no).
- As indicated by the prototype's filename, the character was originally known as Nightmare Candy, which not only was likely to cause him to be confused with Shadow Candy, but also gives yet another hint that he might have originally been intended as a Nightmare animatronic.
- Nightmare Candy's name was changed to Monster Candy, but he is still commonly known by his prototype's name
- It is unknown whether the protoytpe was meant to be similar to Golden Freddy from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, who also randomly appears as a floating head, or if the prototype was simply unfinished.
